Stout Tanks and Kettles’ valves are easy to disassemble and clean. We make it easy to disassemble because we know that if it is a hassle, it won’t get done.

It is important to disassemble and clean the valve because old beer and wort will accumulate and harm your next batch of beer or wine.

NOTE: THE THREADS YOU SEE DO NOT TOUCH THE BEER (OR WINE) PATH. THERE ARE INTERNAL SEALS THAT SEPARATE THE BEER FROM THESE THREADS. THE THREADS ARE FOR ASSEMBLING AND DISASSEMBLING THE VALVE ONLY.
