We have designed a unique combination brew kettle and whirlpool tank. Commercial brewers use combination tanks to separate the hot break from the wort prior to cast out. 

Brew Kettle Cone

The bottom of our combination tank has a cone. When your boil is done, you stir the wort to create a whirlpool for 10 to 15 minutes.  You can do it either hot or cold, but if hot, be sure not to aerate your wort.  After stirring, let it settle for 10 to 20 minutes. The solids will accumulate in the bottom center of the kettle and you can then gently drain your clear wort from the brew pot through the sanitary ball valve. Like our conicals, there are no threads that touch your wort.  100% sanitary design.
