Durst Malt

Durst Malt is a German malt that has been dried slowly at low temperatures. The resulting malt has a rich, toasty flavor with hints of caramel and chocolate. Durst Malt is often used in pilsners and other light lagers, as well as in English-style ales.  Some crewers prefer Durst malt because it is made using a special process that removes some of the sugars that have caramelized, which results in a lighter-colored beer with less bitterness.
